I ran a great 18 miler yesterday.
I've been nervous lately about the training schedule. I attempted 18 last Wednesday but due to the 95F heat only made it to 12.6. With only six weeks left until race day, there's little time for make-up runs.
Next weekend is 20 miles, then 10, 23, 10, 10, race day. The 23 miler cannot be too close to the race for obvious reasons.
The good news is that I'm much faster this year. Last season I ran 18 in 3:28.
