I went out for a ride today around the usual Los Altos loop, but extended it this time to make it about 10.6 miles. It was pretty chilly so I tried out some new cold weather gear-- gloves, arm warmers, and shoe covers. Each performed well.
I've been slacking a little bit on the training schedule lately. I was just looking over my log; I made it outside only 8 times in the past five weeks since the 1/2 marathon. My goal is to be out there every other day.
I think I just need to sign up for the next event. Having a date and distance in mind will be a good motivator.
